Cube Root Farms officially began as a registered company in 2018 with a vision to locally develop technology and processes to revolutionize the food and agricultural industry. It intends to streamline and develop best practices in the operations of providing food, fishery and agriculture, using the most sustainable organic methods of production for society and the environment. This effort was spearheaded by a team of local agricultural scientist, mechanical/electrical engineers and entrepreneurs.

The company was the first in the region to design and develop the first locally manufacture container farm in the Caribbean capable of producing over 2000 heads of lettuce a month. The container can also grow almost any herb and seasoning without pesticides including leafy green crops such as kale, arugula, swiss chard, baby spinach etc.

The company now provides products and services related to agriculture geared towards organic and sustainable food production such as (CEA) Controlled Environment Agriculture and organic minerals such as Azomite.
